Pair of Continental Delft or Delft style blue and white faience figures of deer, a male and female, depicted standing on footed rectangular bases with receptacles for flowers or candles. Impressed 595 on the underside of each. 11 in. H x 7 in. L x 4 1/2 in. W. 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Dr. Michael Spalding, Nashville, TN.
CONDITION: Male deer with a missing antler and ear, and repair to the remaining antler. Female deer with old repair to one ear.
