Tiffany & Company sterling silver jewelry or trinket box, rectangular form with hinged lid, blue velvet lining, and inset miniature painted porcelain plaque depicting a late 19th-century, upper-class female and gentleman enjoying a carriage ride through the countryside and waving at figures standing by a split rail fence. Stamped with maker's mark, Sterling Silver, patent number, and datemark M for the director Louis deBebian Moore. 1 3/4" H x 9 1/4" W x 6" D. Circa 1907-1947.
CONDITION: Minute scattered surface scratches, minute denting to front edge and minor wear to velvet lining. Porcelain plaque with very slight fleabites to lower left edge.
