Rare Peter and Ann Bateman English sterling silver mounted horn hunting cup, the rim and bottom of interior hallmarked for London, 1797. 3 7/8"H (9.6 cm); together with a Georgian silver toddy ladle with inset George II coin and twist carved baleen handle, monogrammed JSS, unmarked bowl, overall 14 7/8" L (37.5 cm). Ladle probably Scottish, circa 1800.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville, TN Collection.
CONDITION: Cup has some wear around upper silver rim and a tiny pock mark near lower rim, otherwise excellent condition. Ladle shows some wear to coin and scratching to baleen handle, overall good condition.
