Colt Model 1860 Army revolver, .44 caliber, mismatched serial numbers including 82346. Barrel marked "Address Col. Saml Colt New-York U.S. America", cylinder marked "Colts Patent No 2346" and "PAT Sept 10th 1850", right side of breech and top of back strap near trigger guard with military marks. Walnut stocks with faint cartouches to either side, round barrel, brass trigger guard, iron mounted with iron backstrap, checkered hammer, standard front sight, loading lever. Barrel length – 8". Overall length – 13 1/2". Serial number 82346 corresponds to year 1862. Provenance: the collection of Benjamin Dysart, Brentwood, Tennessee. CONDITION: Action is good. Metal refinished. Replacement wedge. Several screws replaced. Cut fore stock.
