Victor Jensen (Danish, 1851-1950) oil on canvas painting depicting figures walking along a European city street on a sunny day. Signed lower left and dated 1925. Molded giltwood frame with silvered plaque lower center engraved with what appears to be a previous owner’s name. Sight: 21 in H x 18 in. W. Frame: 26 1/2 in. H x 33 1/2 in. W.
PROVENANCE: Private Kentucky collection.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with scattered craquelure and some faint grime. Some exfoliation along left edge from past framing. Frame is likely not original and has areas of wear and small losses, re-gilt.
