Two (2) Kentucky Percussion Long Rifles, including Pruitt Brothers and Company. 1st item: Pruitt Brothers and Company Kentucky Full Stock Percussion Long Rifle, .41 caliber. Lock plate marked "Pruitt Brothers & CO". Walnut stocks, octagonal barrel, double set trigger, brass trigger guard, butt plate, fimbles, and forearm tip, iron mounted, standard sights. Barrel length – 44 1/2". Overall length – 60 1/2". 2nd item: Kentucky Half Stock Muzzle Loading Double Trigger Percussion Long Rifle, .41 caliber. Tiger maple stock with inlaid German silver escutcheons, octagonal barrel, brass mounted, post converted homemade lock plate and hammer, double escutcheons on fore arm and wedge attachment, standard sights, ramrod. Barrel length – 39". Overall length – 55". Early/mid 19th century. Provenance: the collection of Benjamin Dysart, Brentwood, Tennessee. CONDITION: 1st item: Action does not work. 11" crack to forearm. Nails not present. Stock sanded, new varnish applied. Cleaning rod is not present. 2nd item: Flintlock converted to percussion. Butt stock with breaks/crack to left and right sides of trigger guard. Old ramrod, broken at end to fit.
