Two (2) Toshi Yoshida (Japan, 1911-1995) color woodblock prints. 1st item: Color woodblock print of a large owl perched on the branch of an oak tree and surrounded by colorful autumn foliage, titled Eagle Owl, 1968. Pencil-signed lower right and titled lower left. 16″ H x 11 1/4″ W. 2nd item: Color woodblock print of a Japanese robin perched on the branch of a birch tree, titled July, 1982. From the artist’s Twelve Months of Birds , also known as The Flowers and Birds of the Oriental Year series. 9 3/4″ H x 7 1/2″ W.

PROVENANCE: Private Knoxville, TN collection.
