Two (2) Kentucky Percussion Long Rifles. 1st item: Kentucky Full Stock Percussion Long Rifle, .45 caliber. Lock plate marked "Henry Parker Warranted". Maple stock, half octagonal, half round barrel, brass mounted, six pointed star mounted in butt stock, foliate engravings on lock plate, standard sight, ramrod. Barrel length – 37 1/2". Overall length – 53". 2nd item: Kentucky Percussion Long Rifle, .52 caliber. Top of barrel marked "Angstat". Maple stocks, octagonal barrel, brass mounted, lock plate engraved with flying ducks, five pointed star mounted in left side of butt stock, engraved four-piece patch box on right side of butt stock, Roman Nose butt plate, standard sight, ramrod. Barrel length – 34". Overall length – 49". Both items American, early/mid 19th century. CONDITION: 1st item: Action is good. Converted from flintlock. Untouched patina. Barrel is dark brown. Brass heavily patinated. Toe of stock cracked but present. Original ramrod. 2nd item: Converted to percussion using drum method. Bore cut at some point. Wood filler in front of lock behind the hammer.
