1st item: Old Sheffield Plate entree dish, circular form, having a cover with figural lion heads at each end of the handle atop a floriform pad surrounded by a gadroon border; the base with divided removable insert and Matthew Boulton double sun marks (double struck) to the underside of the rim. 13" diameter by 8 3/8"H. Early 19th century. 2nd item: American sterling silver pierced serving spoon marked for Frank Smith Silver Co., 8 5/8"L, 2.57 oz troy. Early 20th century.
CONDITION: Dish in overall excellent condition except for wear, showing pink, to the bottom. Insert has wear and a small solder repair. Spoon is in excellent condition, monogrammed M_W.
