Fifteen (15) Kentucky Coin Silver Spoons, marks for James Sharrard and his son William Sharrard. This lot includes 1 dessert spoon and 5 teaspoons all with plain fiddle handles stamped J.S. SHARRARD in rectangle for James S. Sharrard; 3 teaspoons with fiddle swell handles and incuse mark WM M. SHARRARD; and 6 teaspoons with fiddle swell handles with incuse mark SHARRARD. 8.74 total troy ounces. Note: the Sharrard family of silversmiths worked in multiple locations between approximately 1836-1880, including Scott County, Paris, Shelbyville, Harrodsburg, Henderson, Louisville, and Princeton.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Cora Jane Spiller, Bowling Green, Kentucky.
CONDITION: All pieces overall very good condition; some wear to ends of spoons. Most pieces monogrammed.
