Coin silver goblet with band of Greek key decoration at rim, raised on a concave footed base with band of beading and Greek key design repeated at foot ring. Marked on underside: W. H. Calhoun Nashville. "Tennessee Silversmiths" by Dr. Benjamin H. Caldwell Jr. lists William Henry Calhoun, born about 1815, working in Nashville from about 1835 until his death in 1865. 5 1/8" H. 3.97 oz. troy. Circa 1855. Condition: No monograms. Several small scattered dents and scratches.
