South American sterling silver 6 pc tea service plus an associated small sterling plate. Tea set includes coffee pot, teapot, covered sugar bowl, cream jug, and large oval tray, all stamped STERLING 925 MERCURIO PANAMA R.P., each piece of pear-shaped form with lobed lower bodies, scrolled feet, and scalloped rims. Also includes a small waste bowl of identical form marked MERCURIO PANAMA R.P ( tests sterling although not marked as such) and an 8" plate stamped DUTY FREE STORE PANAMA and PERU 925 with rubbed maker's mark. Tray: 25" x 17". Teapot height: 10". Combined weight 185.78 oz troy. Mid 20th century.

CONDITION: Overall good condition with some scratching and minor dents.
