Lot 767: 2 Galle Vases; Water Lilies and Cherry Tree

Emile Galle (French, 1846-1904) cameo glass vases. 1st Item: ovoid-shaped, footed vase with straight collar, having reed and water lily decoration, in colors of brown and orange. Raised Galle signature to the lower body. 6 in H x 3 1/2 in D. 2nd Item: Banjo shaped vase in red cherry tree motif, raised Galle signature to reverse. 5 3/4 in H x 3 1/4 in W. Early 20th century.

PROVENANCE: The collection of Mr. and Mrs. David Allen, Springfield, Tennessee.

CONDITION: 2nd item has possibly lost height at neck, otherwise both items excellent condition.
