Margaret Bourke-White (1904-1971) silver gelatin photograph of a Zeppelin, the United States Airship Akron, 1931, framed in the original duralumin frame. Original front panel engraved "F. D. Rupell / Quota Maker / July – August 1931/ This frame is made of duralumin used in the girder construction of the United States Airship Akron built by the Goodyear Zeppelin Corporation." 18 1/2" x 13" sight, 20 1/2" x 26" framed. CONDITION: 9 scratches to right side, 1" to 2" long, including one obliterating signature.
