Pair of Classical plaster bas-relief plaque reproductions depicting the Choir of Luca della Robbia (1400 – 1482) originally in the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Florence, Italy. Unsigned but attributed to Pietro P. Caproni & Brother (Boston, circa 1890s – 1960s). Both depict various figures and putti dancing and playing instruments. 20 in. H x 18 in. W x 3 1/4 in. D each. Early 20th century.
CONDITION: One plaque with a repaired break to the upper left corner. Both with scattered abrasions and minor losses.
