French blue and white decorated faience wall fountain or lavabo (cistern). Comprised of three pieces with hand painted goddess and cherubs and relief molded cartouche, mask and wheat decoration. Central decoration signed G. Hamlet. Intertwined CM mark "Depose", impressed mark R3 to underside. Approximately 30"H overall. French, circa 1880. Provenance: the estate of Elsie Seabrook, Tunica, Mississippi. Condition: Some light crazing and minor wear to edges, lacking turner on spigot.
