Group of thirty-six (36) Japanese Imari or Arita porcelain items including 1 large serving bowl with chop mark on base (5" H x 12" dia.), 1 medium serving bowl with scalloped edge, 1 smaller bowl (2-3/4" H x 7-1/4" dia.), 2 rectangular trays, 5 round plates (6-3/4" to 7-1/2" dia.), 6 scalloped tea cups (2 with chop marks on base, 2-1/2" H), set 5 tea cups with 4 character marks on base (2-7/8" H), 2 sake cups (1-3/4" H), set 7 round saucers (4-1/2" dia.), 5 various scalloped plates (all approx. 8-1/2" dia.), and 1 octagonal plate with 4 character marks on base (8-7/8"). Japanese, late 19th century. Provenance: Private Louisville, TN collection. CONDITION: Medium bowl with chip to rim and hairline to center. One cup saucer broken and repaired, one with chip. One round plate with chip to rim. Some scattered surface grime.
