1st item: Appalachian folk art basket by Elmer F. Richmond consisting of carved wood slats, carved fixed handle and nailed construction. Pencil signed on the base "E. F. Richmond". 10 1/2" H x 10 3/4" L x 7 1/2" W. Note: Examples of Richmond's works were first exhibited in the O, Appalachia exhibition at the Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art. Most of these works were originally part of the collection of Ramona & Millard Lampell who began collecting works of unknown Appalachian artists. 2nd – 6th items: Set of 5 Middle TN miniature split white oak baskets, possibly Cannon County. Rectangular form with fixed wooden handles and woven ribs. Unsigned. Ranging in size from 2" H x 2 1/2" W to 3 1/4" H x 3 1/4" W. 20th century.
PROVENANCE: A Middle Tennessee estate.
CONDITION: All items overall very good condition with light general wear.
