Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Trophy or triple handled vase, having a flared rim over an inverted pear-shaped body with repousse floral and scroll decoration and three vacant cartouche reserves, alternating with three sinuous hollow scrolled handles. Raised on a footed repousse base. Stamped on underside: BLACK STARR & FROST STERLING NEW YORK 4415 4 1/2 PINTS. 11 1/2"H, 32.69 oz troy.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville collection.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition. One cartouche reserve has some abrasion in a small area at center, suggesting possible previous monogram erasure.
