Two (2) coin silver serving or table spoons, likely Natchez, Mississippi, fiddle pattern, marks for Emile Profilet, working New Orleans, Louisiana, c. 1822 and Natchez 1823-1866; both marked E. PROFILET in rectangle, one with mark flanked by eagle heads and having scratched monogram verso, the other having a YBH monogram to front of handle. Each 8 3/4"L, combined weight 3.84 oz troy.
PROVENANCE: Private Southern Collection.
CONDITION: The spoon with eagle marks has an 1/8" tear to bowl and wear to end of bowl, possible worn or removed monogram to front of handle. The other spoon has some wear to mark and back of bowl.
