Nels Hagerup (California, Norway 1864 – 1922) oil on board, view of rocky sea shore with sailboat at sunset. Signed lower left "N. Hagerup". Sight: 11-5/8" H x 17" W. Maple frame: 13-1/2" H x 19" W. Provenance: Private Arkansas Collection. Condition: Some surface grime. Small divot near sailboat to center left of approx. 1/4", scattered peeling to varnish layer. Varnish layer has darkened the oil and the colors would be enhanced with removal of the varnish layer.
