American school, oil on canvas landscape painting depicting a wooded forest path, signed and dated lower right "L. W. Hart, '89". Housed in the original Rococo style frame with later reguilding. Sight – 13 1/2" H x 9 1/2" W. Framed – 23 1/4" H x 19" W. Late 19th century. CONDITION: Light overall cracquelure to canvas, otherwise overall very good condition. Frame with some damage to the upper left back and lower right back corners.
