Antique Louis Vuitton cabin trunk with LV insignia patterned canvas, embossed leather and studded wood bindings, and brass fittings on the exterior; with an interior fitted with two fabric trays, interior straps bearing “Louis Vuitton” and hardware marked “Louis Vuitton Brevette”. Retains the original interior label reading “I. Rue Scribe/Paris/Louis Vuitton/New Bond St./London” and numbered 159495. 13″ H x 35 1/2″ W x 21 1/4″ D. Early 20th century.
CONDITION: There is moderate wear and loss to the exterior finish. The interior is in overall good condition. One tray is missing a handle, and the remaining tray handles are present but detached on one side.
