Hudson River School landscape attributed to James Cameron, oil on canvas, depicting a lake in autumn with brightly colored foliage in foreground and hills, cabin, and mountain in background. Housed in original period giltwood and composition framewith ornate ribbon and leaf molding and anthemion corner decoration. Condition: scattered areas of flaking, particularly at upper right hand side in sky and one 1/8" area in lake. Some losses and gilt wear to frame but no apparent signs ofregilding. 20 3/4" x 7 1/2" canvas size, 26" x 13" framed. American, late 19th century.
