Pair of Neo-Grec Style Gilt Bronze Mounted Marble Urns and Bronze Inkwell, 3 items total. 1st & 2nd items: Pair of Neo-Grec style gilt bronze mounted marble urns, comprised of varigated cream marble with gilt bronze handles, base and feet. 14 3/4" H x 5 5/8" W x 4 1/2" D. Early 20th century. 3rd item: Small gilt bronze inkwell modeled as a Neoclassical tureen with lion mask handles, cartouche shaped body with domed, acanthus overlaid hinged lid and base with four scrolled feet, enclosing a glass well. Mounted on a variegated green marble base, rectangular with curved corners and applied bands of gilded guilloche ornament. Unmarked. Overall – 5" H x 5" W x 3 1/3" D. Probably French, early 20th century. Provenance: the living estate of Annette Petri, Nashville, Tennessee. CONDITION: 1st & 2nd items: One handle on one urn slightly loose. Overall general wear and patina to mounts. A couple on minor fleabites to rims of marble urns. 3rd item: Minor wear to gilding, overall very good condition.
