Group of eight (8) carved wooden Schoenhut toy animals, each with glass (not painted) eyes, able to stand on their own, including one (1) two-humped Bactrian Camel (7″ L x 7″ H), one (1) single-humped Arabian Camel (9″ L x 6 3/4″ H), one (1) Giraffe (11″ H), one (1) Sheep w/ bell (8″ L x 6″ H), one (1) Cow (8 1/2″ L x 6 1/2″ H), one (1) Sea Lion (8″ L x 3 1/2″ H) and two (2) Donkeys (9″ L x 7 1/2″ H). Original, first quarter 20th C.
PROVENANCE: The Collection of John Bullard, Brentwood, TN.
CONDITION: All items appear to be restrung and have general wear/losses/scuffs to paint. Bactrian camel with left ear missing; tail replaced; Arabian camel with tail replaced; Giraffe with tail replaced; Cow with tail replaced, bell absent; Sea lion with ears absent; Donkeys with replaced tails, one with replaced ears.
