Group of 14 land documents, all signed by Tennessee Governor William Carroll at Murfreesborough and concerning various property in Humphreys County directly issued to or assigned to John Davis, John McLemore, and George Campbell. Dates range from 1818 to 1824. Most are partially printed, of uniform size (12" x 15" approx.). Provenance: the estate of Sarah Hunter Hicks Green, formerly of Historic Devon Farm, Nashville, Tennessee. CONDITION: Most are in very good condition with expected toning, very little fading, some partial small tears at fold lines.
