Large pair of French glazed ceramic flasks, blue ground, one having applied gilt painted dragon decoration and the other with applied gilt painted grape and leaf design decoration. Remnants of gilt decoration to rims of both. 18 1/8" H. 11 1/2" dia. Circa 1900. Condition: Overall very good condition with gilt decoration losses to rims of both. Scattered losses to grape and leaf gilt decoration. One very tiny fleabite chip to rim of dragon flask. Both with scattered glaze imperfections and minor craquelure.
