Steinway & Sons Model M studio grand piano, mahogany case over tapered legs terminating into block feet and mounted with castors. Serial number 218253, circa 1922. Cast iron plate marked: MINIATURE REG. U.S. PAT. OFF., CAPO D'ASTRO PAT., DUPLEX SCALE PAT., 2/20 R 874. STEINWAY & SONS NEW YORK. Piano is accompanied by a mahogany bench with tapered legs and block feet and is fitted with a musical-themed embroidered cushion. Piano: 67" L x 58" W x 39"H. Bench: 19" H x 36" W x 15" D.
CONDITION: Piano with some wear to mahogany finish and a few scattered areas of minor veneer loss, including to front right corner next to keyboard. In condition commensurate with age having a cracked or deteriorated pin block in need of replacement, loose and replaced tuning pins, and one crack to the soundboard. Action is worn and needs regulation.
