Six (6) Chinese Export porcelain bowls, including 5 bowls of round, footed form with differing assorted Famille Rose floral hand painted decorations to exterior and central fruit decoration to interior, plus 1 bowl with lobed sides and turquoise glazed interior. Ranging in diameter from 6 1/2 in. to 7 3/4 in., and in age from circa 1800 to circa 1900.
PROVENANCE: Estate of Judge John Nixon, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Bowl with gilt rim and four floral vignettes with restored 1 3/4-inch rim hairline, detectable primarily under UV light. Bowl with butterfly motif with a few tiny rim chips. Others in very good condition with minor wear, especially at rims.
