Gibson K-1 Mandocello, 1918 #47199, brown finished hand-carved spruce top, mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, "ivoroid" tuners and binding, pearl dots and script "The Gibson" on headstock. Replacement bridge, tailpiece cover and tailpin. Tuners/pegs appear original. Housed in later case. Approx. 38" L, 14 1/8" W, 3 3/8" D.
PROVENANCE: The Collection of Richard H. and Kathleen L. Hulan.
CONDITION: Small split on back/tail previously repaired, tailpiece attachment strengthened, slight separation of back to body, minor scuffs.
