Two English Victorian cased sets of sterling silver items. 1st item: Tea Flatware Set comprising one (1) tea caddy spoon, six (6) teaspoons, and sugar tongs, all with decorative engraving, in a blue velvet and silk lined case, the silver hallmarked for Henry John Lias and James Wakely, London, 1879. 2nd item: Child's cup, fork, spoon and knife, all with decorative engraving and filled handles, in a blue velvet lined triangular case. Silver marked for Birmingham, Hilliard and Thomason, 1881. Combined weighable sterling: 4.85 oz troy.
PROVENANCE: Private Bristol, Tennessee collection. Ex-J.H. Bourdon-Smith Ltd, London.
CONDITION: Some wear and staining to interior fabric and exterior of cases. Silver in excellent condition except for ferrule loss to youth fork. Youth silverware and monogrammed AK.
