Whatman 1837 watermark lower right corner. Unframed. Plate – 19 3/4" H x 12 1/4" W. Sheet – 38 7/8" H x 26" W. Provenance: Purchased at the Alex Haley estate sale conducted by Sterling Auction on October 3, 1992. CONDITION: Mended tear left mid margin, approx. 2" L. 1 1/4" loss upper right corner. Wrinkling to paper lower left below image. Minor foxing. Toning to paper from previous frame.
