Two (2) pottery pieces. 1st item: Stoneware churn, Haxstun & Co., Fort Edward, NY, 5 gallon 2-handle churn, cobalt bird on branch decoration, 17" H. 2nd item: Stoneware crock, 2 gallon, maker unmarked, cobalt bird on branch decoration, missing handles, 9-1/2" H. 29.5 lbs total. Both 19th century. Provenance: Private Knox County, TN collection. CONDITION: 1st item: Churn in very good condition, Lid with two losses at edge, largest 1-3/4" L. 2nd item: One handle missing and other handle partially missing. Both handle areas with 3" to 4" L cracks at edges. Sticker residue.
