Two (2) Edward Reynolds Kingsbury (Massachusetts/California, 1855-1940) impressionistic oil on board paintings, including one depicting a view of the ocean to the center with cliffs to either side at sunset and the other depicting a creek or river with rocks on the shoreline and a green valley in the background. Both unsigned, with ink stamps reading "From the Estate of Edward Kingsbury" en verso. Housed in identical silvered gilt frames with off white linen liners and giltwood fillets. Sight: 7 3/8" H x 9 5/8" W. Framed: 12 3/4" H x 14 3/4" W.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Carl Klein, Brentwood, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Both paintings in overall very good condition with a few minor inclusions. Frames with minor rubbing, ocean scene frame with minor losses to back of lower left edge.
