Assembled grouping of eight (8) kitchen and hearth items. 1st item: 18th century English posnet, iron body raised on three legs with bronze handle marked "T.P.B. Water III", for the foundry of the same name, 6 1/8" H x 15" W. 2nd & 3rd items: Two (2) early 19th century fireplace warming stands or trivets with iron and brass pierced work tops. 12 1/2" H x 14" L x 6 1/2" W and 6 1/2" H x 14 1/2" L x 7" W. Likely Continental. 4th-6th items: Three (3) American or English fireplace tools including a poker, tongs and shovel, wrought iron with brass beehive handles. 34 1/2" L. Second quarter of the 19th century. 7th item: Continental brass skimmer with wide pierced top and pierced handle, 24" L. Late 18th/early 19th century. 8th item: American or English hand hammered brass and copper pan with ship on the back, 14" dia. 22 lbs total. Late 18th/early 19th century. Provenance: Sevier County, TN private collection. CONDITION: All pieces overall good condition with general wear consistent with use.
