Large Chinese Export Rose Medallion covered tureen with gilt mushroom finial and gilt twist handles, having polychrome enamel decoration throughout, including alternating vignettes with figural court and courtyard scenes and vignettes with floral, bird, and insect decorations, all against a foliate background with gilt highlights throughout. Tureen measures: 10 1/2 in. H x 14 1/2 in. W x 10 1/4 in. D.

CONDITION: Overall very good condition with light general wear, primarily to gilt highlights.
