Depicts Liberty holding a torch and olive branch, backed by the rays of the sun, the U.S. Capitol visible; 46 stars circle design, obverse, an eagle in flight, backed by rays from the sun, reverse. Edge lettered "E PLURIBUS UNUM". 38.1mm, .900 purity, 33.43 grams. Provenance: The estate of Dr. Sara Parks Pendleton, Owensboro, KY.
