Two (2) English Sterling Bowls, including (1) William Shakespeare related. 1st item: Small egg bowl with engraved lines from Shakespearian plays around the exterior of the flaring rim and circular foot: "THEY ARE UP ALREADY AND CALL FOR EGGS AND BUTTER" – K. HENRY IV Pt I.II.I., and: "GIVE ME AN EGG AND I'LL GIVE THEE TWO CROWNS." – K. LEAR 1.4. Hand hammered, gilt-washed interior. Hallmarked for Pairpoint Bros., London, 1918-1919. 3 3/4" diameter. 2nd item: Victorian bon-bon dish with lobed repousse mask and fruit decorated body framed by four Rococo style double c scroll feet. Hallmarked for Sibray, Hall & Co, London, 1891-1892. 4 1/8" Diameter. Combined weight: 9.09 oz troy.
