Oak Merrick's Advertising round cylinder country store revolving spool cabinet, with two stenciled glass doors reading "Merrick's Six-Cord Soft Finish Spool Cotton" and a door on the base to retrieve the spool with pencil inscription reading "5c 50 yrds.". Top with patent plate reading "Patented July 20, 1897". 20 1/4" H x 18" W. Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Hawkins County, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with some minor wear and abrasions to the top, a couple areas of paint flaking to one door.
