Lot 728: Chinese Gilt Bronze Buddha w/ Carved Stand

Large Chinese gilt bronze “Laughing Buddha” sculpture depicted seated and holding a strand of beads in his right hand. Fitted with a naturalistic carved hardwood stand. Buddha measures: 10 1/4 in. H x 12 1/4 in. W x 8 3/8 in. D. The stand measures: 7 1/2 in. H x 14 1/2 in. W x 10 1/4 in. D. Both pieces 20th century.

CONDITION: Both items in overall good condition, with some minor surface wear to the Buddha sculpture.
