AC-44 Walther P-38 semi-automatic pistol and holster, serial# 7750h, 9mm, blue finish, brown ribbed phenolic resin grips, P38 marked magazine. AC44 code on slide. Frame and slide marked with eagle/359. Matching serial numbers on frame and slide. 5" barrel length. Holster marked "P38 fkx". Acquired by Bill Selden, 526th Armored Infantry Battalion. Selden was awarded the Bronze Star for his service in the Battle of the Bulge. This included intelligence gathering in the town of Malmady, Belgium for the counter offensive to the Battle of the Bulge. Provenance: Estate of Bill Seldon, Athens, Tennessee. Firearms made after 1898 require passing an FFL background check prior to transfer. Please be prepared with proper identification. Condition: Overall very good condition retaining a majority of the blued finish, slide with some very minor abrasions. Good action functionality, bore is clean. Holster in very good condition.
