Hardcover 12mos, 634 pages with engraved vignettes to title pages, additional plates, and 12 pages of back advertisements, hardbound in brown publisher's cloth with blind stamped borders and gilt stamping to front covers, gilt lettering to spine. Includes assorted newspaper clippings. Both approximately 7 7/8" H x 5 1/8" W x 1 1/4" D.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Judge John Nixon, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Covers with expected wear, rubbing, staining, spines are cocked, minor areas of loss, tears to top and bottom of spines, corners bumped. Pages with toning, areas of dampstaining, foxing spots, pencil inscription from previous owners.
