Depicts Liberty holding a torch and olive branch, backed by the rays of the sun, the U.S. Capitol visible, 46 stars circle design, obverse; male bald eagle carrying an olive branch back to a nest occupied by his mate and their offspring, reverse. Reeded edge. Housed in a NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation) slab. Coin: 27mm, 22 karat, 16.97 grams.
