1st item: Austrian School watercolor on toned paper zoological illustration depicting a side view of an elephant with broken tusks, a partially visible calf standing by its side, and calf sleeping on a bed of hay in the foreground. Illegibly signed and inscribed "Schonbrunn Wien" lower left. Housed and matted under glass in a bamboo molded wooden frame. Sight: 17 1/4" H x 10" W. Framed: 22 3/4" H x 14 3/4" W. Late 19th/early 20th century. 2nd item: Luigi Lucioni (New Jersey/New York/Vermont/Italy, 1900-1988) etching entitled "Stowe Hollow" and depicting a Stowe, Vermont farm landscape with barn and farmhouse in a mountain hollow. Signed and dated in pencil "Luigi Lucioni 1933," lower right, and dedicated "To Mr & Mrs Ross Fuller – Best wishes – L. Lucioni 1975," lower left. Housed under glass in a modern wood frame with tan mat. Sight: 6" H x 11 1/2" W. Frame: 13 1/4" H x 19" W.
CONDITION: 1st item: Creasing and minor toning of paper throughout. Minor scattered foxing. Possible dampstaining to head of standing calf. Four pinprick holes along right edge. Not examined outside of frame. 2nd item: Minor mat burn and toning. Not examined out of frame.
