Franklin Mint History of the United States First Edition sterling silver proof medal set, 200 medals total, numbered 7149, dated 1776-1975, issued circa 1968. Each with images of events from American history surrounded by text, stars, and year dates, obverse, explanatory text about each event, reverse. Sterling, copyright symbol, hallmarks, and number to bottom edges. Each coin housed in round plastic coin holders. All medals housed in display sleeves with silver metallic lettering, all sleeves housed in a wooden case. Medals: 45mm dia., 250 total troy ounces. Sleeves: 14" H x 11" W x 1/4" D. Case: 6 3/4" H x 15" W x 11 3/4" D.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of James W. Perkins, Jr., Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: All medals in uncirculated/proof condition. Does not include paperwork. Sleeves and case in overall good condition with light surface wear.
