Continental silver mug, cup or cann with elaborate repousse decoration depicting a horse and rider on one side, a horse and trainer on the other. Central cartouche with engraved crest of a rampant lion, with scroll and fish scale decoration in the outer reserves. Hollow C scroll handle thumbrest and later monogram L. B. Both the body and handle are marked with initials B.E. over a bell, enclosed in a shield (Unattributed). Possibly Dutch or Hanau silver, probably late 18th century. 4"H. 7.59 oz troy Condition: Repair to handle.
