1st item: Persian Qashqai runner, wool on wool, large central stylized medallion with overall botah and floral designs on a navy field, ivory spandrels with similar designs, within three primary foliate borders. Woven in colors of blue, brick red, cream, salmon, and pale gold. 74 1/2 in. x 35 1/2 in. Circa 1940. 2nd item: Antique Turkish Sumac or Soumak tribal kilim rug or weaving, the center composed of multiple vertical stripes with geometric medallion designs, with wide unwoven borders on each side. Woven in blue, orange, brick red, and cream colors. 52 in. x 40 in. Circa 1910.
PROVENANCE: The collection of Charles R. Ragan, KY.
CONDITION: 1st item: Overall good condition with even pile wear. Some fading to colors, color run, and losses at each end. A few small patch repairs to the ends. 2nd item: Overall good condition.
