Large Japanese porcelain urn or vase possibly Satsuma ware, with gilt flowering branch and bird decoration, a band of pheasant decoration around the top shoulder and molded gilded rim. Black seal mark to base. 11 1/2″ H. Approx. 15″ dia. Early 20th century. Provenance: the estate of Mary Alice Clements, Nashville, TN. Condition: Hairline near base edge extending into base underside.
