Antique Persian Isfahan vase rug, wool and silk, the cream silk background with a profusely flowering vase within three primary foliate borders. Woven in colors of red, blue, pink, green, and cream. 6ft 7in x 4ft 6in. Late 19th/early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Heavy pile loss/deterioration to the cream silk ground throughout and additionally to one of the borders, top fitted with denim hangers.
